Refunds & Cancellations Policy

Refunds & Cancellations Policy
Effective date: 20 October 2025

1) Scope
This policy applies to all ScoreSprint services, including 1:1 lessons, the 8-Week IB Math Bootcamp, and any related tutoring or learning resources purchased via our website or directly from us.

2) Who we are

3) Booking, Rescheduling, and Cancellations (Student-initiated)
3.1 Rescheduling window (your requirement). You may reschedule a lesson without charge by giving at least 24 hours’ notice before the scheduled start time.
3.2 How to reschedule. Please reschedule via our website or by emailing scoresprint.eu@gmail.com. The new time is subject to availability.
3.3 Late reschedules, cancellations, and no-shows (your requirement). If you:
     (a) request to reschedule or cancel within 24 hours of the start time; or
     (b) do not attend the session (no-show);
the session is charged in full and no refund or credit is due.
3.4 Late arrival. If you join late, the session will still end at the scheduled time and is chargeable in full.
3.5 Packages/bootcamps. For packages (e.g., IB Math Bootcamp), the above rules apply to each scheduled session inside the package.

4) Provider-initiated Changes
4.1 If we must reschedule. If we need to move a lesson, we will offer a suitable alternative time.
4.2 If we must cancel. If we cancel and no alternative can be agreed, we will issue a refund or credit for the affected session(s) at your choice.

5) Force Majeure & Technical Issues
5.1 Force majeure. Neither party is liable for delays/non-performance due to events reasonably beyond control (e.g., power/Internet outage, platform failure, illness, extreme weather). Each party will notify the other as soon as reasonably possible and agree a reschedule.
5.2 Technical issues. If a session is materially disrupted by platform/connection issues and less than 30 minutes of effective tutoring occurs, we will reschedule the remaining time at no extra cost. If 30 minutes or more occur, the session counts as delivered.

6) Right of Withdrawal (EU 14-day cooling-off)
6.1 Distance contracts. If you are a consumer in the EU, you generally have a 14-day right of withdrawal from the day after purchase.
6.2 Waiver for immediate performance. If you ask us to start services within the 14-day period, you acknowledge and agree that:
     (a) you waive your right of withdrawal once the service is fully performed; and
     (b) for any services already delivered before withdrawal, you will pay a proportionate amount for what has been provided.
6.3 How to withdraw. To exercise your right within 14 days (if not waived/expired), email scoresprint.eu@gmail.com with your order details. We will confirm reception and process per 6.2.

7) Bootcamp Guarantee & Credit (summary)
7.1 Separate terms. The IB Math Bootcamp includes a results-based “Success Credit” structure (e.g., 100% or 55% credit subject to attendance, homework, and assessment criteria) described in the Bootcamp/Guarantee terms on our website.
7.2 Interaction with this policy. The Success Credit is credit toward future ScoreSprint services and is not provided in cash. It is applied in monthly instalments over six months, as per the Bootcamp terms. Session-level rescheduling/no-show rules in section 3 still apply during the Bootcamp.

8) Refunds: Method & Timing
8.1 Method. Approved refunds are made to the original payment method where possible; otherwise, by bank transfer or agreed alternative.
8.2 Timing. We aim to process refunds within 10 business days of approval. Your bank/card provider may add processing time.
8.3 Currency & fees. Refunds are issued in the original transaction currency. Any bank exchange differences or card fees are outside our control.

9) Chargebacks & Disputes
9.1 Please contact us first. If something goes wrong, email scoresprint.eu@gmail.com or contact us via our website so we can help. Unauthorised chargebacks may delay resolution.
9.2 Evidence. We retain booking, attendance, and communication logs to help resolve disputes.

10) Non-Refundable Items
10.1 Delivered sessions. Sessions delivered (or deemed delivered under section 3.3) are non-refundable.
10.2 Digital materials. Access to digital resources (e.g., video library, study guides) provided as part of your purchase is non-returnable once access has been granted, except as required under section 6 (withdrawal) when applicable and not waived.

11) Credits: Validity & Transfer
11.1 Credit validity. Any goodwill or Success Credit is valid for 6 months from issuance unless otherwise stated in the Bootcamp terms.
11.2 Non-transferable. Credits are personal to the student account and cannot be sold or transferred, except with our written consent.

12) Minors & Parental Consent
If the student is under 18 (or under 16 for certain data consents), a parent/guardian must accept this policy and is the contracting party for billing and refunds.

13) Changes to this Policy
We may update this policy to reflect legal or operational changes. The latest version is posted on our website with the effective date. Changes will not retroactively affect confirmed bookings unless required by law.
